On-site Inspection: Green Transformation Practices in Plateau Oilfields
CEO of Huiyao Intelligent Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd MR.Dong arrived today at the Golmud Oilfield Base in Qinghai where he visited the drilling site at an altitude of 3,000 meters. He was invited to i China National Petroleum Corporation Qinghai Oilfield Branch’s energy storage microgrid power supply project. As the world's first integrated wind, solar, and energy storage supply system for plateau oilfields, the project utilizes Huiyao Intelligent's independently developed "EMS-based Energy Storage Power Station Management System" for extreme operating environments. This system provides 24-hour stable power support to 17 oil well drilling platforms, surviving high altitudes, low temperatures, and bumpy roads. Replacing traditional diesel generators with green energy storage solutions , the project is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 12,000 tons annually.


Strategic Layout: Energy Storage Technology Empowers Traditional Energy Upgrades
According to MR.Dong, the company has reached a second-phase cooperation agreement with China National Petroleum Corporation Qinghai Oil Management. This marks a new milestone for Huiyao Intelligent in energy transformation, following the Tianjin Dagang Oilfield Power Supply Project.
In the high-altitude operating area, where temperatures range from -20-30°C, MR. Dong carefully reviewed the operating data of the energy storage containers and emphasized, "Oilfield energy transformation is not only a technical challenge but also an ecological responsibility. Our goal is to maximize the value of every kilowatt-hour of green electricity through intelligent scheduling."

The EMS deployed this time is the core patent technology (publication number CN120073831A) applied for by Huiyao Intelligent in March 2025. The system achieves revolutionary breakthroughs through three major modules:
Dynamic Prediction Capabilities Improve Capacity Utilization
Uses a multi-dimensional spatiotemporal sequence prediction module, this module analyzes plateau wind speed, sunlight intensity, and oil well power load curves in real time, accurately predicting charging and discharging demand over the next 72 hours with an error rate of less than 5%.
Economical Scheduling Strategies Reduce Power Supply Costs
In line with Qinghai's time-of-use electricity pricing policy, wind power is stored during valley periods (¥0.20/kWh) and supplied to oil wells during peak periods (¥0.52/kWh), generates over 60,000 yuan daily in peak-shaving revenue.
Fault Self-Healing Mechanism
The execution and monitoring module isolates battery pack anomalies within 200 milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation of drilling equipment—a performance far exceeding the response speed of traditional oilfield backup power supplies.
